Thought this was hilarious. One of the worst movies I've ever seen. I still detest John Travolta to this day. I mean why would you play a woman in Hairspray?! and I'll hand it to you that Phenominon was alright.

I rented "Battlefield Earth" to see how bad it was and it was atrocious due to the over-the-top acting (especially by John Travolta), production design, plot, weak dialogue, ugly special effects, and just the film itself. I've seen better films than this one. I enjoyed John Travolta in "Ladder 49", "Pulp Fiction" and I saw part of "Carrie." But, I agree with you "Battlefield Earth" is a bad film.
